The Story of Mike's Savvy Seasoning  
              Some  things are best not planned.  So it has  been with Savvy  Seasoning, which I’ve been making since 1980.  For a number of years I only made it  for an annual  South Texas hunting trip. Friends and guests frequently remarked about  how flavorful the foods at camp were.  
               Soon, I began making and bottling seasoning to give away as gifts to friends and family during the holidays.   It didn’t take long before I was receiving calls, letters and  later  e-mails from people saying “Mike, I’m hooked on your seasoning; how can I get  some more?” People began asking for  it by the case and I started getting e-mails and calls from people whom I'd never  met. That's when I knew that there was something special about my seasoning.   
               Mike’s  Savvy Seasoning is not complex, hot, or spicy, but it tastes great on so many  foods.  Many  who try it end up using it every day. I love to hear someone say, “Please pass me the Mike’s”, or  “Please pass the Savvy”.
